In today’s busy world we are bombarded by businesses and organizations telling us why we should buy their product, why we should donate to their cause and why we should attend their event. In a day we are likely to see over 5000 ads. Stop for a second – how many do you really remember. One, two, maybe three?
So how do you cut through the noise? Tell them a great story. As human beings we crave stories. Our day to day conversations are stories. Even when we sleep we are connecting to stories with our dreams. Our brains are more engaged when we are listening to stories. We recall more information over a longer period of time when we are told a story.
